Ecclesiastes 4:1

Well, I'm back. My phone connection, on the blink for two months, has been restored (for now). Its been a horrible two months, bereft of water supplies, phone connections or internet access, and we've had to go through the worst kind of stupid, bureaucratic pettiness to get just the phone company to do its job (our water connection still isnt restored). I have no confidence left in BSNL (my phone company and ISP), the Maharashtra PWD or the Pune Municipal Corporation, so I'm not optimistic this semi-happy state will last long. While this connection persists, however, I shall endeavour to keep blogging.

¿Socialismo o muerte? ¡Prefiero muerte!

In the meanwhile, however, here's something cool I noticed. Here are pictures of Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show and Rajdeep Sardesai, newsman, late of NDTV and working at CNN-IBN when I last checked.

I don't know about you guys, but I see an uncanny similarity. Considering that Jon Stewart's a comedian caricaturing the role of a news anchor, I think the joke's on Rajdeep, eh?

I hear that the rural hinterland faces a lot of infrastructure problems these days. My sympathies.

Why don't you move into the 'real city' :)

When Pune gets continuous electricity supply because of the industries, will you guys be benefitted?

Well, we're a part of the PMC, and a part of the MSEDCL urban grid, so if Pune benefits, we will too. But I think you're being overly optimistic if you think that proposal's coming through anytime soon.
